Overview

MultiStreamView is a browser extension that lets you watch multiple live streams from YouTube, Twitch, and Kick simultaneously in a single tab, with an integrated chat sidebar. This policy explains what data the extension handles and how.

Data we collect

We collect no personal data. The extension does not transmit any information to external servers.

Local storage

The extension stores the following data locally in your browser using the browser's built-in storage API:

• The list of streams you have added (platform, channel name or video ID, layout role)
• UI preferences per view (sidebar width and position, bar height, PiP size and corner, tab order)
• View names and IDs you have created

This data never leaves your device. It is not shared with us or any third party.

Third-party content

The extension embeds stream players and chat widgets from YouTube, Twitch, and Kick via iframes. When you add a stream, your browser connects directly to those platforms under their own terms and privacy policies:

• YouTube / Google Privacy Policy

• Kick Privacy Policy

Permissions

The extension requests the following browser permissions:

• storage – to save your layout and stream list locally
• tabs – to detect when you are on a supported stream page so the popup can offer to add it
• declarativeNetRequest – to allow stream iframes to load inside the extension page by removing frame-blocking headers
